Data protection quality mark awarded to REISSWOLF

Datenschutz-Gütesiegel The data protection quality mark awarded to REISSWOLF by Schleswig-Holstein’s “Independent Regional Centre for Data Protection” certifies that data deletion using REISSWOLF’s destruction system is in conformity with legal provisions governing data protection and data security.

The data protection quality mark is sponsored by the European Union and is only awarded to products or automated processes which have been thoroughly tested to ensure that they are legally and technically watertight.

Thanks to the rigorous process it employs, REISSWOLF’s file and data destruction system now carries this quality mark to confirm that it is suitable for use by the authorities of the German region of Schleswig-Holstein, including the police and the social and financial authorities.

The quality mark will be officially presented to REISSWOLF on 30th August 2004 at Kiel castle.

April 2004
Europe’s most modern business site for the destruction of documents enters into operation

After a six-month transitional phase in April Europe’s most state-of-the-art destruction site for the external destruction of documents entered into operation at REISSWOLF's Hamburg site. The paper, for example, is fed by an industrial walking floor – at a rate of several tonnes a day. At the Hamburg site alone every month more than 1 000 tonnes of high security archive material is irreversibly destroyed.
The new video-monitored fleet security vehicles are also REISSWOLF’s own development and look like oversized armoured cars.

The journey to becoming the most modern company in the archive destruction sector has not however been a spontaneous success, but is rather the result of ongoing development work. As one of the first service providers in document destruction, from the start the REISSWOLF Group set the standard for the competition – also with respect to large-scale businesses.
