The REISSWOLF Group was the first European service provider for data security. Today, REISSWOLF is market leader in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Sweden. The Group is subdivided into REISSWOLF Deutschland GmbH and REISSWOLF International AG.

REISSWOLF Deutschland GmbH coordinates the activities of the German partners. The incorporation of REISSWOLF International AG was based on the decision to create a franchise system in which all REISSWOLF partners would operate under the same quality standards. The aim of the concern is to provide international leading edge security services which set new standards in data protection.

In 2004 the REISSWOLF Group consisted of:
  • 41 partners
  • in 13 European countries
  • with 830 employees
  • servicing 52,000 clients
  • with an annual turnover of 46.000.000 €
  • disposing of 158,000 tons of data.
The trend is upwards.


REISSWOLF in detail:

1985 Volker Henning founds REISSWOLF.

1986 Jan Möller kick-starts REISSWOLF Hamburg and immediately makes 46,000 € turnover. In the same year 4 German parners set up their business under the REISSWOLF brand-name.
1987 there are already 8 franchisees.
1988 REISSWOLF Germany GmbH is founded.
1991 the formation of REISSWOLF Luxembourg initiates the European success-story.
1992 17 REISSWOLF-partners cover the growing demand in Germany.
1994 REISSWOLF has become market leader in Germany.
1997 REISSWOLF International GmbH is founded by Jan Möller.
1999 REISSWOLF has 37 partners in Europe.
2000 REISSWOLF International is converted to a public limited company. Jan Möller becomes chairman of the board.
2002 the founder of REISSWOLF, Volker Henning is awarded “Businessman of the Year”.
2004 the REISSWOLF Group is represented by 41 partners in 13 countries.
